Fund Accountant / Financial Analyst

Mountain View, CA (Hybrid)

Salary:

$115,000 Base + Bonus+ Carry

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting: Prepare and review financial statements, close reporting packages, investment accounting, private company valuations, and journal entries.

• Reporting: Track investment and exit data, analyzing fund and portfolio reporting with precision and accuracy.

• Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, including the use of tools like SQL and Apps Script.

• Investment Support: Review portfolio financial statements, create pro-forma capitalization tables, handle funding wires, and collaborate with the legal team to meet tight deadlines.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of Big 4 audit experience with venture capital clients.

• CPA preferred but not required (all finance team members currently hold CPAs).

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Adaptable and proactive, comfortable working in a fast-paced startup-like environment.

• Technical proficiency with G Suite and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with scalable technologies for financial processes is preferred.
