Description

We are seeking a highly competent Staff Accountant with a deep understanding of Accounts Receivable to join our multi-dimensional team. Your core responsibilities will include gift entry support, invoicing revenue-related transactions, and assuring timely collection of monies. You will also assist in Accounts Payable and Accounts Reconciliation when needed. This is a contract to permanent placement opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Conduct gift entry support and ensure appropriate opportunities and campaigns are matched within Salesforce or NetSuite

• Oversee and ensure accuracy in the invoicing of revenue-related transactions

• Communicate with teams or clients to assure timely collections

• Perform reconciliation duties and recommend improvements for invoicing and collection procedures

• Serve as a backup for Venue Rental Accounting and Accounts Payable

• Conduct Accounts Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliation as needed

• Provide general finance department support including end month close, annual audit, and sales tax filings

• Uphold the professional standards of the organization and maintain confidentiality

• Continually seek improvement in job responsibilities and seek avenues for professional growth

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (finance or accounting degree preferred)

• A minimum of 3 years of work experience in finance or accounting

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles

• Prior CRM/ERP system experience (especially Salesforce) preferred

• Experience with NetSuite desirable

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and capability of meeting deadlines

• Proficiency in MS Excel

• Exceptional communication skills and a team player

• Self-motivated individual with the ability to follow finance policies accurately
