Superior Vending Services, Inc. Vending Route Supervisor in Mt. Vernon, New York
Functions of the Route Delivery Supervisor are listed below (but not limited to) the following:responsible for configuring routes and assigning drivers to those routes;hours are from 8:00 am to Close-Of-Business, Monday through Friday;responsible for keeping track of drivers and their vehicles;responsible for reviewing the driving record of all drivers on a quarterly basis;responsible for making sure all route drivers are properly groomed and wearing clean uniforms to work;responsible for maintaining a good working relationship among drivers, the warehouse employees, the maintenance employees and all customers;Management Skills of the Route Delivery Supervisor are listed below (but not limited to) the following:knowledge of a vend-management system such as Vendsys or Cantaloupe preferred;able to take direction from the Chief Operations Officer;have a valid driver’s license;have developed inventory control skills;have good communications skills in English (and Spanish would be a plus);have good writing skills;able to work as a team member;also able to work independently;able to present a good image of the company at all times;able to stay reasonable under stressful situations;have developed leadership skills;able to complete all job specifications;able to find reasonable solutions to problems that arise daily;able to communicate effectively in a manner that benefits the company;able to physically lift cartons and pallets and other containers;able to move freely with no restraint in motion;The Route Delivery Supervisor will be considered to be performing in an acceptable manner when the following objectives have been accomplished:delivery schedules kept up-to-date, routes, tasks and other work assigned in the most effective and efficient manner;quality of work as measured by accidents, tickets and customer complaints.staff is motivated to exceed performance goals driven by a spirit of team-workhas demonstrated capacities and abilities to solve problems and provide technical guidance to staff.has demonstrated the ability to maintain discipline and a stable work environment where subordinates adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Salary: 75,000.00 Maximum Salary: 85,000.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
