Aerotek Heavy Equipment Operator in Mulberry, Florida
Job Description
We are looking for Heavy Equipment Operators to join out growing team! You will be operating Heavy equipment operators must have the ability to run a GPS Dozer OR Excavator, more specifically a Caterpillar D6N or a motor grader. Operators must be able to dig trenches in order to lay pipe or poly pipe and HDPE liner. Operators must be capable of building temporary roads and slopes so equipment can get in and out of the mines. Operators must be able to move piles of dirt to designated areas on the job site. Must perform pre-operational checks of equipment. Must be a team player, if there are laborers struggling to complete work on the ground, need to be open to getting out of equipment to help out. This doesn’t happen often but must be physically able to help occasionally. Responsibilities
Operate a GPS Dozer or Excavator, such as a Caterpillar D6N or motor grader.
Dig trenches for laying pipe or poly pipe.
Move piles of dirt to designated areas on the job site.
Perform pre-operational checks of equipment.
Follow all safety protocols.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including loaders, dozers, and excavators.
Experience in construction and earthworks.
Ability to work with GPS systems for equipment operation.
Civil construction knowledge.
Capability to perform digging and trenching tasks
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
