Adecco US, Inc. Senior Accountant in Mullins, South Carolina

Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in there search for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team! This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, tracking assets and liabilities, performing rate calculations, and providing financial analysis for special projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cost accounting and analyze actual manufacturing costs.

  • Prepare reports comparing bid costs to actual production costs .

  • Assist in estimating new and proposed product costs.

  • Conduct inventory and margin analysis for cost and profitability assessments.

  • Reconcile finished goods inventories on an ongoing basis.

  • Support internal reporting, including audit and tax schedules .

  • Process weekly temp labor invoices and WEX accounts payable .

  • Update commercial cost workbooks quarterly.

  • Post weekly payroll files and maintain the general ledger .

  • Reconcile bank accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and cash disbursement accounts .

  • Assist with accounts payable and ensure payments are appropriately allocated.

  • Provide support for annual audits and tax filings .

  • Maintain knowledge of GAAP accounting practices and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.

  • 3+ years of accounting experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of general and cost accounting principles .

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ROSS ERP or similar accounting software .

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills .

  • Ability to prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and analyze costs .

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.

  • Must be able to climb stairs as needed.

Pay Details: $1.00 to $2.00 per hour
