Key job responsibilities
• Manage, participate and review month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing of financial books according to US-GAAP and local GAAPs
• Drive and participate in national and international accounting projects
• Business partnering with various global cross-functional stakeholders in the Amazon group to ensure process excellence and the highest degree of controllership
• Maintain efficient and compliant accounting and reporting processes and controls
• Actively contribute to improvement initiatives, standardization, optimizations of processes

Basic Qualifications
University degree in Accounting or related field
Knowledge in US-GAAP, IFRS or any other local GAAP
Several years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably gained within a Big Four company or a multinational org
Excellent communication skills with fluent English
Proficient Microsoft Excel User
Preferred Qualifications
Project management abilities and experience in process improvements through automation
Entrepreneurial, hands on, can-do attitude and ability to think outside the box
