Job Summary: To promote maximum service to the members by: Carrying out engineering planning, support, and technical innovation assignments and duties in accordance with the viewpoints, objectives, plans, and policies of the Engineering Department as related to MTE. Striving for maximum, efficient, and constant growth in engineering techniques and procedures. Promoting good public and member relations by rendering prompt and efficient engineering service that will further the objectives of MTE. Providing coordination and training of other engineers in the department. Cooperating and coordinating with other departments with the functions of the Engineering Department as may be applied to their particular situation. Reading available engineering and MTE publications to learn of new products and new techniques in applying engineering principles. Attending engineering meetings to exchange information.
Job Requirements: Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry and People Smart). Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college. Professional licensing preferred. Substation design experience preferred.
