Description:
Shift: Variable hours, 12 hour day shift, 36 hours one week and 48 the following week.
Every other weekend and rotation for holidays.
Responsible for operating Professional Med Team’s wheelchair vans. Responsible for picking up and transporting wheelchair patients according to predetermined schedules and Pro-Med policies and procedures. Reports to Pro-Care Supervisor.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
MFR or Certified Nurse NA preferred
Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
Valid State of Michigan motor vehicle operating license, with continued safe driving history.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret EKG charts.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
