Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Nampa, Idaho, United States. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of accounting tasks, ranging from general accounting to tax services and audit assurance. You will also be expected to build strong relationships with our clients and guide our entry level accountants.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable auditing standards and client requirements during audit engagements

• Maintain strong detail oriented relationships with clients, offering financial advice and understanding their financial goals

• Conduct tax planning and research to identify opportunities and mitigate risks for our clients

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for various entities including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofits

• Supervise and mentor entry level accountants, providing guidance and ensuring quality of work

• Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance team expertise

• Conduct account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable reporting standards

• Use various accounting software such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for tasks like journal entries and month-end close

• Handle balance sheet and bank reconciliations. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Demonstrated knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is a must

• Strong understanding of General Ledger is necessary

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must

• Experience with Month End Close processes is necessary

• Familiarity with NetSuite is essential

• Oracle usage skills are required

• Experience with SAP is a must
