Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

Looking for Heavy Equipment Operators to work for a quickly growing environmental company! Need to have the ability to work aloft, climb ladders, staging/scaffolding and other aerial equipment. Pay will range from $35 - $45

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as Excavator, Bulldozer, Loader, Skid-Steer, and Backhoe.

  • Perform general labor tasks related to environmental construction projects.

  • Work on various types of environmental projects including remediation, demolition, excavation, dredging, utility work, and landfill cap and closures.

  • Read and interpret plans and construction drawings.

  • Work aloft, climb ladders, and use staging/scaffolding and other aerial equipment.

Essential Skills

  • 5-10 years of construction experience.

  • Ability to operate an Excavator, Bulldozer, Loader, Skid-Steer, and Backhoe.

  • Experience utilizing GPS machine control.

  • Possession of a valid MA hoisting license with 1C/2A designation for MA jobs.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.

  • OSHA 10 Hour certification.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 40 Hour HAZWOPER training.

  • Ability to travel within New England.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
