Inspectors perform in-process and final inspection operations on circuit card and module assemblies utilizing a microscope for the majority of the workday. Elements of a circuit card assembly include components, solder, adhesive and hardware. Modules include circuit card assemblies, cables/harnesses, solder and hardware. Inspection is in accordance with IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610. Due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
In this Inspector role, you will perform in-process and final inspection operations on circuit card and module assemblies. You will undergo intense training to become a certified inspector utilizing IPC-A-610 and other criteria to inspect assemblies. You will receive direction on work priorities from your team-lead, daily. You will support and work closely with the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) operations team while inspecting moderate to complex assemblies to ensure compliance to applicable quality specifications and standards.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education Required
- High School Degree or GED equivalent
Experience Required
- Experience working within cross-functional teams supporting common goals
Skills Required
Ability to read, understand, and follow process instructions, customer drawings, and other related documents
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate and able to navigate production related software
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to sit at an inspection workbench and utilize a microscope for the majority of the workday
Ability to focus on tasking while paying attention to detail
Additional Requirements
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

IPC-A-610 Certification
J-STD-001 Certification
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
Experience Preferred
Experience with electronics manufacturing
Experience working as an inspector or within Quality Control
Familiarity with IPC standards including IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620
Experience using a microscope
Experience working within ESD and FOD controlled environments
Experience using manufacturing computer applications (like TipQA, Solumina, Oracle) to track hardware and capture nonconformances
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $46680 - $74687

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
