Job Description

North America Cloud Infrastructure - Engineering (NACI-E) is a leader in creating innovative solutions for Oracle's most important Cloud customers. We're looking for a Technical Program Manager Intern to build trust, accelerate deal timing, and increase OCI consumption across out team of 1500 Cloud Solution Engineers. You'll drive success by analyzing internal training data, recommending best practices, and ensuring actionable follow through.

Who is the NACI-E Pilots, Empowerment and Productivity Team?

We are a fast-moving agile team that drives technical pilots, empowerment, and organizational productivity projects that accelerate revenue growth, business efficiencies, and technical acumen. We partner with leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to evaluate new approaches to the business, implement solutions, fail fast, and document key learnings. We are measured on set goal attainment and sharing our learnings and recommendations to help evolve the organization.

Oracle Corporation's NACI-Engineering division is seeking a talented and ambitious Veteran Intern to join our dynamic team as a Program Manager. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of an innovative and diverse group, offering a range of benefits and exposure to our organization.

As a Program Manager in the Veteran Intern Program, you will play a crucial role in driving projects and initiatives to success. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Excel and analytics, coupled with a passion for innovation, learning to fail fast, and a desire to learn and grow within the technology industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track projects, ensuring timely delivery and attention to detail.

  • Analyze complex data and create meaningful reports and presentations to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing project updates and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Identify process improvements and innovate new ways to streamline workflows, leveraging your Excel skills and analytical mindset.

  • Reflect on lessons learned and share your knowledge and expertise to enhance the overall performance of the team.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, bringing new ideas and strategies to the organization.

Qualifications:

  • US Veteran transitioning from active service or Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred

  • A degree, or relevant experience in the fields of Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or Project/Program Management.

  • Proficiency in Excel is a necessity, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, share analysis and translate it into actionable plans.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.

  • Quick learner with a can-do attitude, eager to take on new challenges and adapt to changing requirements.

  • Prior experience in a similar role or internship is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

About Oracle Veteran Internship Program:

Oracle is proud to sponsor an internship and integration program that exposes transitioning military veterans and military spouses new to the corporate culture, provides hands-on job-skill training and experience, and offers enhanced professional and personal development. At Oracle, we are committed to the development and professional growth of our veterans and military spouses. Our paid internship program is specifically designed to aid military veterans, transitioning servicemembers and active-duty military spouses new to the corporate sector in their transition to a career in the private or public sector.

Veterans and Military Spouses accepted into our program will work closely with corporate leadership, military veteran coaches and HR professionals to help prepare for a successful transition. Interns will engage in on-the-job training and professional development in fields such as information technology, technical/systems consulting, technical support, facilities, finance, human resources, logistics, marketing, sales or developmental training in sales or for customer support (as available).

Additional Information:

  • Hourly wage is $30 per hour. This is a 40-hour per week position.

  • Internship runs from January 27 through April 18, 2025 – should be available full time 40 hours per week during these dates.

US: Hiring Range: from $18.99 to $53.00 per hour; from $39,500 to $110,240 per annum.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
