Project Director

Location: Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.

The Project Director is responsible for identifying key people to bring about change and develops a network of contacts and targets specific people to achieve project goals and objectives. The position connects Clinical Operations, External Clients, Product, and Client Success to ensure that CareBridge operations are working effectively within each market. As part of the Decision Support leadership team, this role also supports complex initiatives including the development of response plans to client requests as well as taking on opportunities to improve or evolve service delivery.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manages projects across business units, regions or the enterprise; influences at all levels within the organization, often setting strategy and direction; coaches and mentors project team members; mentors other project managers around project management methodology; determines project scope; develops resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans; develops training plans; defines, recommends and secures contractual agreements for services and products; coordinates requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and develops service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms; develops requirements documents; develops project approval matrix; identifies project team training and tool needs; defines quality gates for each project methodology phase; defines critical success factors; establishes and manages the project warranty period.

  • Owns the Decision Support value capture waterfall (ensuring operational actions convert to client value) by serving as the primary liaison between internal and external clinical teams as well as client success to identify and bridge model alignment challenges impacting value capture.

  • Develops internal Decision Support workflows and standard operating materials which are responsive to market variation in plan operations and Medicaid coverage and payment policy.

  • Acts as operational lead on Decision Support New Market launches integrating CareBridge Decision Support into state Medicaid programs and HCBS waivers.

  • Ensures that Decision Support teams are on track on assigned new market Decision Support implementation tasks, proactively escalating risks and identifying potential solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 9 years professional project management experience, which at least 7 years are spent leading and directing large project tasks; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

  • Awareness of significant contributing factors to manage project change and demonstration of a solid understanding of end to end business processes and the critical IT dependencies strongly preferred.

  • Masters in Project Mgt preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

  • Leadership experience working in the managed care/healthcare insurance industry.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and adaptability highly preferred.

  • Proven ability in collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts towards common goals strongly preferred.

  • Experience interacting confidently with senior management and executive level stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making preferred.

  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate

  • Proficient of Microsoft Office products, most notably in PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word, strongly preferred.
