We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our North America Food Safety and Compliance team as a Senior Traceability Program Manager. This position will focus on partnering with our business and operations stakeholders to coordinate the rollout of new product features across our grocery fulfillment network to support food traceability compliance. The role will also be responsible for developing and publishing Selling Partner educational content around food traceability requirements as well as conducting strategic outreach to key vendors/sellers to help inform our regulatory compliance strategy.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, strong Customer Obsession, and a track record of operating in a dynamic environment. You must also be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, be willing to take the lead in solving cross-functional business problems and feel motivated by a fast-paced, start-up environment where having an “ownership mindset” is critical to success.
Key job responsibilities
Work with business and operations stakeholders to develop and execute a rollout plan for new product features to support food traceability compliance requirements
Create and publish vendor/seller-facing policies and educational content to help Selling Partners better understand and comply with our food traceability requirements
Conduct targeted outreach with strategic vendors/sellers to improve traceability data-sharing and gather feedback on their traceability compliance plans
Work with operations and tech teams to develop pilot testing/data quality audits and use those learnings to drive continuous process improvement
Track and report metrics/key learnings to leadership and program partners as part of monthly business reviews and VP-level goal reporting
Develop goals, KPIs, and metrics to track program health and progress. Effectively communicate challenges/roadblocks, progress, and success to business and leadership teams
Develop and share subject matter expertise with WW Food Safety leaders to help improve regional traceability compliance
A day in the life
In this role, you will be elevating Food Safety compliance standards across Amazon's network of Distribution and Retail/Grocery Fulfillment sites. Your typical day will blend strategic planning with innovative program development. You will work with a diverse range of cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of program changes. You'll analyze key program metrics and look for proactive opportunities to continuously enhance our processes. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
Experience communicating with higher leadership in written and verbal form
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing vendor and/or seller relationships
Experience writing, publishing and managing customer-facing content
Knowledge about Advance Shipment Notifications (ASN) and EDI 856
Experience using SQL in a business environment
Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
