This position will | | report directly to the Sightseeing Manager. | | Duties and Responsibilities: | | | | - Logistics: Coordinating the logistical movements of the fleet | | and tour driver staff to ensure the efficient use of the vehicles | | and drivers. Directing and coordinating with the operations | | dispatch and driver staff to ensure the proper rest and | | regulatory requirements. | | - Safety and Training: Responsible for the scheduling of | | drivers and vehicles for Company training as well as directing | | tour driver staff to be educated and participate in the | | implementation of regulatory policies and requirements of the DOT | | and the Company. | | - Scheduling and Forecast: Set schedule for tour drivers. | | Primary contact person to approve requests for time off. | | - Maintenance Vehicle Coordination: Work directly with the | | Maintenance Director to coordinate the assignments of mini-buses | | for customers, drivers, and mechanical related issues. | | | | Education, Skills, and Abilities: | | | | - High School Diploma or equivalent required | | - Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred | | - Computer literate, extensive knowledge of Office Suite | | | | {=html} | | | | | | - 1-2 years of transportation/hospitality industry experience, to | | include experience in the operations function of the business and | | an understanding of the diverse lines of business in which the | | Company engages. | | | | Physical Requirements: | | | | - Must be able to view a computer screen and type for extended | | periods of time; | | - Other physical requirements include occasional squatting, | | bending, twisting, and bi-lateral hand and wrist movement. | | - | | | | Salary: Base + % of personal sales | | Status: Full Time; Non-Exempt | | Additional Information: | | Every employee at Gray Line Tennessee has a stake in the safety of | | our clients, customers, and employees. | | As a privately held, originally family-owned, Gray Line Tennessee | | offers benefits which reflect our commitment to attracting and | | retaining the best employees.
