Naval Air Systems Command MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Naval Air Station San Diego, California

Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Command Operation Department, NATEC of NAVAL AIR TECHNICAL DATA AND ENGINEERING SERVICE CENTER. Responsibilities You will operate software systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Project, SharePoint) to analyze data from multiple projects. You will establish and maintain case files for investigations, inquiries, reviews, audits, and inspections. You will analyze proposed plans or program policies to identify data that disclose trends, situations, deviations, or problems. You will observe work in progress to identify problem areas (e.g., workflow, work methods, processes, procedures, task distribution, overall workload, forms, record keeping) requiring resolution. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing administrative advice and support in the areas of military, civilian and contractor support personnel actions, correspondence, directives, supplies/property accountability office automation, training, records management, reports control, awards, and logistical requirements. 2) Utilizing knowledge of DoD employment laws, policies procedures, and regulations that govern entitlements to advise management of changes to regulations and policies. 3) Assisting in the development and implementation of office clerical processes and procedures, assuring that improvement in administrative efficiency, record keeping, reporting and services rendered accurate and complete. 4) Managing the command Records Management Program in accordance with Department of the Navy (DON), Naval Air Systems Command, and Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers for life cycle management (creation, maintenance, use, and disposition) of DON records.
