Position Overview: The Plant Sanitation Manager is responsible for leading the implementation of the sanitation and water resource program throughout the manufacturing plant. The successful candidate provides leadership and direction to the entire plant, on all shifts, including receiving, production, sterilization, and packaging in cleaning processes including CIP, COP, and manual scrubbing. The Plant Sanitation Manager acts as the technical liaison between operations, management, government agencies and the chemical supplier. Responsibilities: Ensures, oversees and manages the process and execution of daily sanitation operations. Maintains, oversees and manages the process and execution of wastewater treatment Maintains, oversees and manages the process and execution of RO water treatment Assigns duties to sanitation and production staff. Performs Pre-op and Post-op inspections. Performs cleaning verification and validation programs to prove the effectiveness of the Sanitation program. Performs environmental testing and chemical titrations. Responsible for documentation of all sanitation programs. Maintains and updates all sanitation databases and records. Generates daily reports.
