Community First Credit Union Senior Systems Engineer in Neenah, Wisconsin

Description

As our Senior Systems Engineer, you will support and manage all server, Active Directory, and VMware hardware and software technology, in addition to mentoring other staff members. This position will work in an engaging team environment to design, install, configure, troubleshoot, manage, and monitor critical software and equipment used to service our members and employees. This role is also responsible for systems monitoring and ensuring the availability and security of enterprise systems by using advanced technologies to proactively identify and resolve issues and/or problems associated with enterprise applications and infrastructure. This is an on-site role located at our Home Office in Neenah, Wisconsin.

As the Senior Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Consult on the architecture and design of enterprise systems and technology solutions to meet the growing and changing needs of the Credit Union and its members

  • Showcase your knowledge of enterprise application and system technologies, such as scripting, Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, web servers, and Windows and Unix based server operating systems

  • Design, implement, and integrate highly available and secure enterprise technology services, such as server monitoring and management, inventory management, directory services, DNS, email, patch management, server operating systems, internet content filtering, anti-malware, and web service technologies

  • Design, implement, and execute standards for documenting information systems designs, standards and procedures used to implement, manage and maintain CFCU technology

  • Establish and execute standards for documenting information system changes and for testing system changes for enterprise technology services before they are put into production

  • Solve complex problems while being able to simplify and educate others on issues and resolutions

  • Manage oneself, resources, and timeliness to deliver solutions that solve business needs and requirements

    We are looking for a combination of:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or another related field

  • 10+ years working experience with proven effectiveness and a deep technical knowledge of server operating systems, virtualization, and enterprise technologies

  • Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, and CompTIA preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of Linus and Microsoft server operating systems as well as enterprise applications, such as Directory Services, eMail, Software Delivery, and Scripting Languages

  • Advanced knowledge of new and emerging enterprise technologies, systems, and resources in the industry

  • Knowledge and experience in enterprise networking technologies such as TCP.IP, routing, firewalls, VPN, proxies and gateways
