Aerotek Service Technician in Neenah, Wisconsin
Job Description
We are seeking a Crane Service Technician to travel to various manufacturing companies across Central Wisconsin. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing cranes, performing crane inspections, and conducting preventative maintenance on cranes and equipment. This is a customer-facing position that requires using electronic documentation to document work and update service records.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cranes.
Conduct crane inspections.
Perform preventative maintenance on cranes and equipment.
Utilize electronic documentation to document work and update service records.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients.
Essential Skills
Troubleshooting and repair experience.
Service experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in computer and mobile applications.
Strong math aptitude.
Attention to detail.
Sense of urgency.
Self-directed and customer-focused attitude.
Mechanical inclination.
Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds.
Willingness to travel.
Valid Class C driver’s license with a clear DMV driving record.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience with cranes and rigging is a plus.
Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience with crane inspection and service.
Prior service or maintenance experience on overhead cranes and lift systems.
Maintenance or mechanic experience.

Work Environment
You will work independently once trained, performing service at customer sites on lift and aerial equipment. Expect to commute locally within an hour of Neenah to various manufacturing facilities and work sites, often leaving from and returning to your home each night. Periodic visits to the Neenah shop for equipment or training may be required. The role typically involves a 40-hour work week with occasional overtime.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $90000.00
