This position will initiate continuous improvement in processes and procedures, assign projects, and provide direction and support to the staff. As a senior leader, the Manager of Quality Engineering Manager is responsible for the development of a strong team that thrives in a dynamic and and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Establishes the vision and strategy to drive excellence in the Quality and Engineering teams. Leads the creation and implementation of the quality and engineering department\'s strategic plans. Leads the engineering and quality functions, managing expenses, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting corporate goals (e.g. revenue growth, profitability). Manages issues specific to customer markets such as aggressive product launch cycles, the need for creative product design and unique product components. Collaborates with all functional areas in the company to assure processes are effective and efficient at meeting quality standards and expectations set by the customer. Drives new engineering and quality concepts, techniques, standards and procedures. Acts as a change agent in development and improvement of business processes. Ensures the optimal application of technology, quality and engineering resources to meet customer product development requirements per the sales plan. Assesses, designs, develops, implements and evaluates Management Systems to conform to IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015. Analyzes, evaluates and presents information concerning factors such as production capabilities, manufacturing problems and design and development of new products for consideration by other members of the MEC team.
