Vitalant Part-Time Hospital Distribution Technician in Neptune, New Jersey

Vitalant is seeking a Part-Time Dispatcher / Hospital Distribution Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Hospital Distribution Technician is vital. You will support Vitalant's life-saving mission by managing the inventory of blood and blood products and facilitate the packaging and shipment to local hospitals and patients. As a Hospital Distribution Technician you'll get to:
Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products, conducting a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy.
Professionally and safely deliver products (occassionally when needed) to Vitalant customers in company vehicle.
Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability.
Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees.
Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas.


Requirements

High School diploma or GED required
Valid in-state driver's license
Six months of customer service experience required
Prior healthcare industry experience preferred
Able to lift 40lbs
