CNC Machinist & Programmer - $25-30/Hour

Job Description

• Machinists will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes in a job shop environment.

• Responsibilities include setting up tooling, adjusting speeds and feeds, program edits, offsets, changeovers, and fixtures.

• Machinists will run first piece and conduct first piece inspections on parts.

• They will measure parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and zolars.

• The machines operated include mills, lathes, and mill-turn from 3-axis to 5-axis machines. Candidates will be cross-trained on various machinery.

• Machinists will read G&M Codes and make necessary edits to machines, read blueprints, and check parts accordingly.

• Run times will vary from a few minutes to a few hours, offering a dynamic, non-repetitive work experience.
