Alene Candles 1st Shift Logistics Load Planner in New Albany, Ohio

SUMMARY

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Finished Goods Load Planner to join our logistics team. The Load

Planner will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of customer orders, shipment creation, and

scheduling. This role involves close collaboration with our customer for order adjustments and coordination with

the Transportation Specialist (TSP) to ensure timely and efficient release of shipments.

Pay: $22.50

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Shipment Creation and Reservation: Develop and generate shipments based on customer orders. Reserve

all shipments, ensuring that inventory and transportation resources are optimally utilized.

· Customer Order Management: Create and process customer orders with precision, ensuring all details are

accurate and up to date.

· Order Adjustments: Collaborate with the customer to make necessary adjustments to orders. Address and

resolve any discrepancies or issues related to order fulfillment.

· Transportation Coordination: Communicate with the Transportation Specialist (TSP) to confirm that all

shipments are ready for release. Provide necessary documentation and information to facilitate smooth

transportation operations.

· Communicate with Stakeholders: Liaise with internal teams and customers to provide updates on

shipment status and address any inquiries or concerns.

· Support Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and

stock reconciliation.

· Contribute to Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the logistics

function and provide suggestions for optimization.

· Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Sr. Supervisor, or Sr. Logistics Manager.

Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIRED

· High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or certification in logistics or supply chain

management is a plus.

RANGE OF EXPERIENCE:

· 1-2 years of logistics experience is highly desirable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

effectively.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with

internal and external stakeholders.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn new software systems.

Experience with SAP, Manhattan, OpenDock or other TMS software a plus.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of working independently

with minimal supervision.

· Eagerness to learn and grow within the logistics field, with a strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
