Actalent Roof Inspector in NEW BERLIN, Wisconsin

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect Roofs: Assess the condition of roofs to determine the need for repairs or replacements.

  • Evaluate Materials: Ensure roofing materials are suitable and correctly installed.

  • Identify Damage: Look for signs of damage or wear, such as leaks, broken shingles, or mold.

  • Compile Reports: Document findings in detailed inspection reports, including photographs and descriptions.

  • Provide Recommendations: Advise on how to improve roof longevity and performance.

  • Ensure Compliance: Make sure all roofing work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.

  • Communicate Findings: Explain inspection results to property owners, contractors, and insurance companies.

  • Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest roofing technologies, materials, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven work experience as a Roof Inspector or in a similar role.

  • Knowledge: Understanding of different roofing systems and materials.

  • Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes.

  • Physical Ability: Ability to climb ladders and walk on roofs safely.

  • Attention to Detail: Excellent observation skills to identify potential issues.

  • Communication Skills: Good customer service and ability to explain findings clearly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
