Wood Stacker: Precision Moulding and Woodworks is in need of (2) Wood Stackers at their facility in New Bern NC - downtown. This worker would be responsible for material handling (wood sticks) by hand in a production environment, 5 days per week, 8-4pm, Monday - Friday. Job Duties: Ideal Candidate needs to be able to lift up to 25 lbs of Wood Sticks or empty pallets. Candidate needs to be able to stand on their feet for 8-hour shifts, and also operate a plastic strap banding machine. Stacking: Stacking lumber according to customer requirements on pallets and bins while keeping edges of stacks square and strapped in an efficient manner as to keep production flowing smoothly. Quality Checks: After training, this candidate would be able to do final grading inspection if graders miss defective wood sticks, and report to supervisor. Organization: Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the production area. Safety: Candidate must value workplace Safety First in Wood Manufacturing in Hazardous environment. Work Days: M-F, 8-4:30pm daily. 401k offered after 1 year employment (Match up to 4%). Previous experience in Warehouse/Production environment is preferred, but not required. Minimum Age: 18 yrs old. Education: High School Degree preferred, but not required.
