Must be adaptable and able to work with regular interruptions.Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.Physical Demands / Working Conditions:Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computerStand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionallyLift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 35 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequentlyTravel by air or car occasionallyOccasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazardsWage Range - $25 - $36 per hour depending upon experiencePosition Summary:This position is responsible for performing diversified inspection, audit, test, and measurement duties on complex products and processes to ensure conformance to requirements.Key Responsibilities:Inspection - Accurately inspects manufactured or other process output against documented ATEP specifications per the drawing, Control Plan, inspection procedures and other site quality control documentation. Maintains awareness of customer complaints and internal rejections of the product being inspected. Follows all discrepant material control procedures. Notifies inspection supervisors and process owners of any detected discrepancies. Performs detailed first article inspections and capability studies.Measurement Equipment - Maintains proper use and care of measurement equipment; ensures equipment calibration is current per the Calibration Schedule before use. Utilizes a variety of measurement tools to accurately perform measurements. Measures product with required equipment as defined on documentation. Sets up or runs current program files on automated equipment when required for part inspection. Troubleshoots and resolves measuring instrument issues. Problem solves equipment interface issues with online database / statistical software program to allow data to be entered into appropriate files. Serves as the technical resource for manufacturing personnel performing self-inspection.Documentation - Maintains current and appropriate inspection documentation in product files. Documents all discrepancies between the product and the written specifications per procedures. Records all inspection results electronically. Follows site containment procedures.
