Aggreko Technical Support Specialist in New Iberia, Louisiana

W e are immediately hiring a Technical Support Specialist with Temperature Control experience to be based in North America – a role that will help us to power progress for our customers

What you’ll do:

  • Operate as an Agent of the Aggreko TSD

  • Receiving, Processing, and/or Delegation of technical sales inquires about our product line (power generators, chillers, oil free air compressors).

  • Monitoring of inquiry, processing, and resolution by system metrics

  • Liaise with Aggreko Sales, Technical, Fleet team and Management functions to provide technical solutions.

  • Assist Aggreko technicians with troubleshooting, equipment operation and process inquiries

  • Support sizing and specification of generator, load bank, electrical distribution, and refrigeration systems

  • Analysis and interpretation of technical drawings to determine parameters for safe and efficient connection of packages to customers’ systems in conjunction with site visit by Sales, Technical and/or contracted company if required.

  • To escalate all statutory design requirements (Electrical and Mechanical) to the relevant SME

  • Interpretation, modification and creation of layout, arrangement, and technical drawings via CAD or other relates software, and sketch methods.

  • On agreement with Aggreko field sales, inside sales and technical staff, liaise with client.

  • Advise Sales team on specific design and propose technical solutions.

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Associate degree (A. A.) from two-year college, technical school or equivalent work experience

  • 7 to 10 years’ experience as a Level 2/3 technician with Aggreko or other similar business on HVAC technician.

  • A good communicator, both written and verbal

  • Competent computer skills

  • Able to work unsupervised.

  • Promoter of continuous improvement philosophy

  • Creativity and problem solving

  • Multi skilled technical ability
