Now hiring for Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a large superconductor manufacturing company in New Milford, CT.

Pay: $21/hr

Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Location: New Milford, CT

Job Description: Responsible for assembling parts, accessories and performing assembly operations to support the production of transformer and rectifier units.

• Assembles parts and accessories on units.

• Cleans and prepares tanks for assembly.

• Disassembles old or repaired units, records how parts came off, and stores in repair totes.

• Assembles wooden frames and supports.

• Completes tapping and insulating of Line leads, including acknowledgements.

• Assembles L.V. buss bar and builds related assemblies.

• Assists with prepping and landing coils per drawing designation.

• Assists with cutting and cleaning line leads to correct length.

• Assists with crimping lugs correctly, per engineers' needs with proper fillers.

• Assists with routing cables per drawings with correct clearances in H.V. and L.V.

• Assists with routing and running internal connections inside the tank.

• Assists with mounting external components including conservators, piping, gauges, heat exchangers, and brackets.

• Keeps work area and tool box orderly, organized, and clean and maintains, as needed, prior to the end of daily shift.
