Pfizer Sr. Manager, Paid Social Media in New York City, New York

ROLE SUMMARY

As part of the Chief Marketing Organization the Sr. Manager Paid Social will be part of the Performance Marketing team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development of our approach to paid social across a subset of brands within the Pfizer portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker, as well as hands-on experience. You will be part of our newly created In-House team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and managing successful paid social campaigns, and a deep understanding of industry trends.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to align paid social efforts with overall marketing objectives

  • Lead the development and implementation of paid social campaigns across all social platforms to ensure performance goals are met or exceeded

  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of Pfizer social accounts such as performance monitoring, account optimization, and budget pacing.

  • Conduct in-depth research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Develop and deliver regular performance reports and insights to senior stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and recommending optimizations for ongoing improvement

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to drive decision-making and optimizations

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all social platform reps to leverage new opportunities

  • Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to form POVs and educational sessions for key stakeholders

  • Support the development of testing plans, hypothesis formulation, and experiment design to drive continuous improvement in campaign performance

  • Assist in bringing new opportunities through MLR review and assist in maintenance of current MLR guidance as it pertains to social platforms

  • Provide mentorship to junior team members to foster their growth and development

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS required

  • 7+ years of agency or client-side Hands on Keyboard Social expertise (Healthcare experience preferred but not required); OR a master's degree with 6+ years of experience; OR PhD with 2+years of experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and best practices related to each.

  • Experience leading teams within an agency or client-side

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment

  • Strong communications skills and ability to translate concepts for a wide variety of audiences

  • Understanding of media measurement norms, evolving landscape, and industry standards

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in paid social tools and analytics platforms

  • Ability to manage budgets effectively and demonstrate a positive ROI

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
