Description We are in the market for a focused and diligent Accounting Analyst to be a part of our team in the Marketing/PR industry located in New York. In this role, you will be tasked with analyzing financial data, maintaining precise sales records, and addressing any discrepancies in data reporting. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing financial data and preparing detailed reports

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting

• Reviewing and managing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Ensuring meticulous review and maintenance of sales data and customer credit records

• Employing SQL for data analysis purposes

• Resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Identifying and addressing any discrepancies in data reporting

• Monitoring customer accounts and executing appropriate actions

• Assisting with commissions management and document review. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must for efficient data management and analysis.

• Familiarity with SQL for managing and querying databases.

• Strong data analysis skills to interpret complex information effectively.

• Experience in financial analysis for understanding and evaluating financial data.

• Proficiency in Power BI to visualize data and share insights across the organization.

• Experience in document review to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.

• Ability to conduct detailed reviews to identify errors, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

• Knowledge of commission structures and calculations in a sales context.

• Experience in handling sales data and converting it into actionable insights.

• Proficiency in data reporting, including creating reports that effectively communicate data and analysis results.

• Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies for ensuring data integrity.
