Meta Audiologist in New York, New York
Summary:
The Health and Wellbeing Team at Meta is seeking an audiologist to support the clinical operations and development of innovative audio technologies. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including research scientists, engineers, and product managers, to execute studies that evaluate the safety and efficacy of audio products.
Required Skills:
Audiologist Responsibilities:
Execute studies to evaluate audio products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop study protocols, data collection methods, and analysis plans
Conduct audiometric testing and other assessments as needed
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners such as research organizations
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in audiology and related fields, and apply this knowledge to inform study design and implementation
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.)
Current licensure as an audiologist
5+ years of experience in audiology, with a focus on research and/or clinical practice
Understanding of audiological principles and practices, including hearing assessment and rehabilitation
Proven experience working effectively with diverse stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with research study design and implementation, including data collection and analysis
Familiarity with hearing aid validation, Real-Ear Measurements (REM) and regulatory requirements
Certification in audiology, such as CCC-A (ASHA) or American Board of Audiology (ABA-C)
Experience with user testing and/or human factors research in audiology
Public Compensation:
$147,000/year to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
