Wolters Kluwer Business Development- Partnership Success Director in New York, New York

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Partnership Success Director to oversee and manage all aspects of partner relationships within the Clinical Effectiveness North American Provider (NAP) Business Unit. This individual will be responsible for ensuring partner projects are implemented seamlessly while coordinating internal communications and operations to optimize partnership effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess substantial healthcare industry experience, a proven track record in building and maintaining strategic partnerships, and significant experience in digital product management.

*This is a Hybrid role requiring 2 days a week in a Wolters Kluwer office*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage Partner Relationship Strategies: Foster strong, mutually beneficial partnerships through comprehensive relationship strategies.

  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to partnership implementations and improvements, ensuring timelines are met, resources are used efficiently, and partners and stakeholders receive regular updates.

  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly review partnership performance, analyze key metrics, and provide insights to identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives for enhanced outcomes.

  • Partnership Management: Take ownership of partner relationships post-contract, ensuring expectations are met and partnerships deliver value to both WK and its customers.

  • Ongoing Relationship Nurturing: Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring continued collaboration, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for partnership enhancement.

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with partners to ensure alignment with CE's ongoing services and solutions, providing strategic advice to optimize outcomes.

  • Internal Communication Coordination: Ensure that all relevant internal teams are informed and equipped to support partnership activities effectively.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product, sales, marketing, and customer success, to align partnership activities with company goals and maximize partner value.

  • Partnership Agreement Renewal and Expansion: Collaborate with existing partners on contract renewals and identify opportunities for partnership expansion by introducing new services or solutions.

  • Internal Training and Support: Develop and deliver training resources to ensure internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product Specialists) can effectively support partner solutions post-sale.

  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve partnership challenges to ensure smooth, long-term collaboration.

  • Strategic Initiatives and Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements within partner management processes and develop operational workflows for seamless execution.

  • Represent the Organization: Participate in industry conferences, partner meetings, and networking events to promote and represent the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing partnerships or strategic relationships in the healthcare industry.

  • Digital Product Management: At least 5 years of experience in digital product management, including oversight of product lifecycle, user experience strategies, and technology integration.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including regulatory environments, key industry players, and market trends.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of managing relationships within a large matrixed company environment.

  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams.

  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple teams to deliver results on schedule.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze challenges proactively and deliver win-win solutions.

  • Relationship Management: Proven success in cultivating and maintaining long-term, high-value partnerships.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management tools, CRM systems, and digital product management platforms.

  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel as needed (<10%).

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $183,700 - $260,050
