Job Description
A growing general contractor that specializes in new construction projects for high-rise and mid-rise buildings is seeking a Lead Construction Superintendent to help oversee their projects. The Lead Superintendent will play a crucial role in overseeing various construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
• Open and manage job sites.
• Oversee project onboarding and ensure compliance with DOB requirements.
• Maintain rigorous quality control throughout all project phases.
• Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Manage all trades on-site, ensuring smooth coordination and execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Essential Skills
• 6+ years of experience as a Lead Superintendent overseeing new construction projects for high-rise and mid-rise buildings.
• DOB Superintendent License required.
• Experience working on all phases of a construction project.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work on site 100% of the time
• Proficient in project management software Procore
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to lead meetings with subcontractors.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56.00 - $61.00/hr.
