The Human Resources Director is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR leadership, direction, and expertise for the Ad Sales organization.  In collaboration with the VP, Human Resources, this person will provide day to day client support and strategic HR solutions for the: Advertising Technology & Platform Solutions team and Legal Affairs team.

This role will partner closely with business leaders in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, change management, employee coaching, compensation strategies, succession planning, training & development, rewards & recognition, organizational effectiveness, and employee communication. This position will report into the VP Human Resources.

  • Drive key HR initiatives including but not limited to staffing, performance management, compensation strategies, succession planning, training and development, rewards & recognition, recruitment and retention, organizational effectiveness, and employee communication.

  • Manage a team of HR professionals, providing direction and identifying development and engagement opportunities that support and encourage high performance.

  • Partner/collaborate with the Advertising & Partnerships leadership team to align and execute HR strategies in support of business initiatives.

  • Develop and implement change management plans.

  • Manage complex employee relations issues including organizational and structural changes.

  • Work with managers and talent acquisition to focus on recruitment and retention of internal and external talent.

  • Advocate and offer guidance and coaching to department leaders and employees, providing feedback and advice on organizational issues.

  • Work to resolve employee and organizational issues in a proactive and positive manner.

  • Manage complex employee relations issues including organizational structures and investigations.

  • Work with management to develop and implement training strategies to meet workforce needs.

  • Uncover, assess and propose opportunities for strategic improvements.

  • Work closely with HR peers and teams across the broader Media Group to ensure big picture initiatives are woven into the fabric of the Ad & Partnerships division – building connective tissue back to this consolidated vertical.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of study

  • 8+ years relevant HR experience including employee relations and organizational development

  • Ability to analyze data and use data to tell a story

  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through

  • Ability to work independently, juggle priorities and manage time to effectively to meet deadlines

     

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $130,000 - $165,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible).
