Environmental Engineer

Job Description

The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for report writing and fieldwork on various OER projects throughout the 5 boroughs. The role includes construction oversight, community air monitoring (CAMP), soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and more.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction oversight and community air monitoring (CAMP).

• Perform soil and groundwater sampling.

• Prepare and write detailed reports.

• Engage in fieldwork as necessary for various projects.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science.

• 5+ years of field experience in construction oversight, community air monitoring (CAMP), soil sampling, and groundwater sampling.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in report writing.

• Willingness to work in the field.

• Relevant certifications such as Hazwoper, OSHA 30, OSHA 10, and OSHA 40.

The role requires both office and fieldwork.

On-site hours are from 6:45 am to 3:30 pm

• Office hours are from 9 am to 6 pm.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
