Typical EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • BS or BA Degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA is strongly preferred.

  • Experience in a public accounting firm is required; large international accounting firm is preferred.

  • Strong global business perspective with understanding of a multinational organization with multiple business units is preferred

MOST IMPORTANT COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Capability of operating in a fast-moving, ever changing environment and ability to make tough, difficult accounting and financial-related decisions.

  • Ability to analyze and translate financial information and results into workable information for communication to operating management.

  • Ability to conduct detailed business and financial analyses to identify potential problems, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions is necessary.

    TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A working knowledge of US GAAP is expected.

  • Proficiency in Planning & Analysis and accounting are expected.

  • Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills.

  • Ability to work independently yet manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • High energy and able to handle conflict.

  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
