Nursing Supervisor - Large Rehab Facility

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisors for both full-time and part-time positions. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and practice within assigned areas. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care and practice within assigned areas.

• Oversee and manage nursing staff to ensure high standards of care.

• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Participate in staff training and development programs.

• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and standards.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State.

• Four years of experience as a staff nurse.

• Prior experience as an assistant head nurse, head nurse, or instructor, or comparable experience.

• Strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved and accredited school of nursing.

• Demonstrated interest in geriatric nursing.

• Initiative, judgment, and dependability.

• Commitment to continuing professional development.

Work Environment

This position is located in a 705-bed rehabilitation and nursing care facility in the heart of Washington Heights in Northern Manhattan. The facility is committed to providing quality care through diverse programs and services designed to support health and independence for individuals needing short-stay or long-term inpatient care. Shifts available: Day Shift (7:30am-3:30pm), Evening Shift (3:30pm-11:30pm), and Overnight Shift (11:30pm-7:30am), with alternating weekends required. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $140000.00
