Touro University Part-time Admissions Recruiter in New York, New York
Overview
The Part-time Admissions Recruiter will assist the Assistant Dean for Admissions in recruiting law students and admissions counselling.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinates and attends recruitment events/law school/graduate school fairs and LSAC forums
Cultivates relations with pre-law advisors
Visits and holds law school information sessions at local feeder schools and organizes campus tours for students from those schools
Coordinates all aspects of on-campus and/or virtual outreach events such as open houses, information sessions, and accepted students events
Counsels, corresponds and meets with prospective and admitted students
Contacts and follows up Wufoo leads
Assists with initial review of assigned groups of the law school applications
Collaborates with the marketing department in developing recruiting materials
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
J.D. preferred
College or Graduate admissions experience preferred
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
Communication and interpersonal skills
Accuracy and productivity in completing tasks
Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines
Team-oriented with a student service approach
Physical Demands
Extensive Use of Computers
Extensive time sitting and standing
Able to lift up to 5 lbs.

Maximum Salary
USD $40,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $32,000.00/Yr.
