Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in the FinTech industry, located in New York. The role involves various responsibilities related to payroll operations and system transitions, requiring strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Download and process reports related to payroll operations.

• Handle audit requests promptly and accurately.

• Register and manage state-related payroll duties.

• Carry out payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

• Provide assistance in the transition of payroll systems.

• Utilize accounting software systems and applications like UKG and ADP for efficient payroll processing.

• Employ strong Excel skills for data management and analysis.

• Handle multi-state payroll operations and related tasks.

• Manage and reconcile payroll tax reporting.

• Coordinate with vendors for payroll-related services. Requirements • Must be proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is required

• Familiarity with Ceridian and Crystal Reports is beneficial

• Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration is necessary

• Proficiency in About Time and Accounting Functions

• Demonstrated experience in Auditing and Benefit Functions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Multi-state Payroll or Multistate Payroll

• Experience in Payroll Tax Reporting and Reconciling Payroll

• Must be capable of managing Payroll Vendor relationships

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
