Full Job DescriptionOur racial justice client has an immediate need for a Social Media Specialist to support their team 20-40 hours per week, fully remote, for about 2-3+ months.Social Media Specialist Responsibilities: - Apply racial justice experience to work on various advocacy campaigns for social media. - Apply proven social media management experience to support content planning, copywriting and asset creation. - Work in Sprout Social to schedule and manage social media posts. - Create content across Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, Bluesky and YouTube- Collaborate with internal colleagues to manage and optimize content. Social Media Specialist Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of social media management experience; racial justice experience. - Proven social media management experience, ideally within an advocacy organization. - Experience working within a social media management tool; Sprout and Buffer preferred. - Strong copywriting and ideally, basic design skills for content creation.Requirements:Must have a strong interest AND experience with Racial Justice even if it is just from volunteer opportunities.
