Penguin Random House Publisher Services (PRHPS) sells and distributes titles from over 50 client publishers. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate, Client Operations to join our collaborative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong client service skills, have a desire to grow within our organization, and have an interest in contributing to the success of our publishing business. They should have a few years of experience, ideally within the book industry, but candidates with experience in client-facing roles and a passion for reading are encouraged to apply. About the Role The Senior Associate, Client Operations is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional support to our client publishers. This role requires a curious and proactive individual who enjoys helping others and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and grow within the organization Responsibilities:

• Client Account Management: Manage a portfolio of client accounts, building strong relationships and acting as the primary point of contact.

• Quickly distill the needs of the client and provide thoughtful, strategic, creative, and informed solutions to meet client publisher needs within standard operating procedures

• Ensure client satisfaction and proactively resolve any issues that may arise.

• Operations Support: Collaborate with the broader team on projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and streamline processes.

• Analyze data and identify areas for improvement within client operations.

• Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and systems.

• Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, colleagues, and internal stakeholders.

• Clearly and concisely articulate complex information to diverse audiences.

• Prioritize requests based on business needs, while coordinating actions through multiple departments, and closely tracking follow through and results

This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the United States. Core working hours are between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET. Individuals are also eligible to work from the 1745 Broadway office in Manhattan if preferred. Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of client experience in the book publishing industry or a client-facing role in a related field.

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability1 to think critically and creatively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• A passion for books and the publishing industry.

The salary for this position is $61,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results. Please apply using our online application process and include a resume and cover letter with salary requirements.
