We are a rapidly growing general contractor specializing in new construction projects for high-rise and mid-rise buildings in Lower Manhattan. Our firm has a consistent track record of delivering the highest quality residential and commercial complexes in NYC.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Estimator to help support our projects throughout NYC. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are priced efficiently and meet deadlines. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a firm renowned for its excellence in construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for high-rise and mid-rise construction projects.

• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information.

• Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate contracts.

• Maintain and update cost databases and estimating software.

• Ensure all estimates are accurate, competitive, and completed within deadlines.

• Provide value engineering options to optimize project costs.

• Present estimates to clients and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in high-rise and mid-rise building projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.

• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.

• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50 - $60.00/hr.
