Description
The North America Stores team is seeking a Senior Manager of Creative Operations to lead strategic roadmap planning, in partnership with cross functional stakeholders for the organization. In this role you will manage and oversee all intake of new business, and be a thought leader in technology adoption and workflow enhancements.
As the Senior Manager of Creative Operations, you will manage a team and drive the planning and prioritization of operational management, including creative deliverables, resource management, schedule tracking, and risk mitigation, while collaborating with leadership and cross-functional partners to deliver innovative solutions across work streams. You will need to manage communications across levels and organizations within Amazon to ensure awareness, understanding and alignment with organizational and business priorities.
The ideal candidate will exhibit autonomy, bias for action, high judgment, ability to deliver results and exceptional organization and communication skills.
Key job responsibilities
Oversee a complex portfolio of work, constantly evaluating and anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, making tradeoffs, and balancing the business needs versus technical constraints
Manage creative team resources to support and deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget
Improve and optimize organizational workflows, processes and team efficiency, enhancing planning and ensuring scalability
Work to accelerate content delivery through tooling and artificial intelligence (AI)
Own operational planning for creative team, with an emphasis on minimizing disruptions and maximizing adoption
Manage external agency and partner relationships, ensuring creative deliverables meet expectations
Promote the growth and development of the creative team, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and self-sufficiency

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of creative operations experience
5+ years of people management experience
5+ years of working cross functionally with creative, product and tech teams experience
Experience operationalizing and maturing creative organizations within a complex and ambiguous corporate environment
Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery, including defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Experience working with, presenting to, and influencing senior executives up to VP level
Preferred Qualifications
Skilled in navigating complex tradeoffs to prioritize resources, organizational health, and scalable solutions
Ability to guide a diverse range of professionals, significantly impacting organizational objectives and strategies
Financial management skills
High capacity for making informed decisions that positively affect customer experience, business outcomes, and technical considerations
Excellence in communication, planning, risk management, and strategic escalation
Expertise in enhancing cross-organizational creative programs and mechanisms
eCommerce and/or retail experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $238,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
