Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for massive social data and prediction problems. Test systems modifications. Work on a range of ranking, classification, recommendation, and optimization problems, such as clickfraud detection, collaborative filtering/recommendation, or spam detection. Develop highly scalable systems, algorithms and tools leveraging deep learning, data regression, and rules based models. Suggest, collect, analyze and synthesize requirements and bottleneck in technology, systems, and tools. Develop solutions that iterate orders of magnitude with a higher efficiency. Leverage orders of magnitude and more data. Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments, like distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU.Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (foreign equivalent accepted), and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 12 months of experience involving the following:1.C, C++, Java, and C#;2.Building large-scale infrastructure applications;3.Creating web applications using at least one of the following: Python, PHP, or Ruby;4.Relational databases and SQL;5.Implementing web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, or CSS;6.Leveraging frameworks, including React or React Native;7.Conducting design and code reviews;8.Object-oriented software development;9.Building maintainable and testable codes bases including API design and unit testing;10.Multithreading programming and mobile memory management;11.Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce);12.Distributed systems including sharding, consistency, and availability;13.Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS as evidenced by file manipulation, advanced commands;14.Applying algorithms and core computer science concepts to real world systems as evidenced by recognizing and matching patterns form different areas of computer science in production15.systems;16.Building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques;17.Mobile architecture patterns that can scale to a large number of programmers and teams in one codebase like MVVM, VIPER, modularization;18.Dependency injection and scoped access to shared resources; and19.Filesystems, server architectures, and distributed systems.
