JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Sr Electrical Coordinator/Super at WDF Inc., reporting to the Sr. Project Manager , you will have the opportunity to:

• Review, interpret & accurately evaluate scope of work in the project documents.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports

• Evaluate schedule and determine when materials should be procured and installed

• Evaluate changes and subcontractor change order estimates relating to mechanical, plumbing and fire suppression mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs

• Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information

• Enters RFIs into Procore (or other project management system that may be utilized) and tracks progress

• Research and analyze specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications

• Obtains or maintains a working knowledge of the mechanical, plumbing & fire suppression codes, life safety codes & local requirements

• Conducts daily job walks to ensure the accuracy and quality of the MEP components.

• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew

• Relies on instructions & pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

• Works under general supervision

• Develops & nurtures subcontractor/vendor relationships

REQUIREMENTS:

• 10 or more years of construction management experience in MEP related field. (Mechanical, Electrical, MEPFP Superintendent experience)

• Highschool diploma or GED

• Proven jobsite knowledge & performance

• Excellent knowledge of construction, craft activities, cost control schedules & safety

• Ability to work independently while working in a strong team environment

• Ability to prioritize work to accommodate deadlines with minimum supervision

• Proficiency and working experience in Microsoft Office Platform

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

• Must be dependable, consistent, diligent, and thorough

• Intermediate skill level with Procore or similar software

• Commissioning and Life Safety experience is preferred but not required

• Working knowledge of 3D modeling is preferred but not required

The salary range for this position is between $250,000 and $280,000 depending on experience
