Support the Cyber Security IAM Software Development team, which is responsible for designing and delivering tactical and strategic solutions in support of NBCU's Identity Management goals. Responsible for evaluating and developing on-prem and cloud-based IAM services with the goal of reducing cyber risk where our applications consume identity. Couple an architectural mindset with a balanced solution approach, while applying knowledge, flexibility, and strong communication skills. Responsible for team leadership and mentoring. Manage SDLC in an automated fashion using industry standard process and tools. Interface directly with business customers to solve identity challenges for enterprise, customer access, and external partner requirements. Produce technical solutions that meet NBCU business objectives and drive compliance with NBCU’s information security goals. Partner with technology and security teams across NBCU to provide technical expertise, design guidance, and drive best practices. Raise risks embedded in legacy authentication implementations and help define a path to industry-aligned secure designs and services. Create and deliver high-level presentations for consumption by Architecture and project teams to assist in business relevant information security decisions. Participate in solution and product evaluations. Maintain strong vendor awareness to help NBCU to stay on the cutting edge of IAM technology. Introduce new technologies and platforms to the team through instruction and mentoring.
Position based at headquarters and may be assigned to unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. as determined by management. Telecommuting permitted.
Master’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related technical field (or foreign degree equivalent).
The position requires 8 years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Developer, Solution Architect, or in a related occupation.
The position requires each of the following skills, which must have been gained through eight (8) years of experience:
Languages: Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, and Microsoft .NET in an Agile methodology;
Microsoft Azure services: Functional and Logic Apps, API Management, DevOps Repo and Pipelines, Service Bus, and Data Factory, and custom Azure API and Web service development.
The position requires each of the following skills, which must have been gained through five (5) years of experience:
Solutions architecture;
Cloud computing administration;
Cloud computing architecture;
SysAdmin and DB Admin experience (Windows, SQL, and Oracle);
Cloud solutions design and development in a large enterprise;
MS Azure Architecture and Engineering;
Agile software development methodology in both small and large team settings.
The position requires each of the following certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert;
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Legacy);
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or similar certification.

Salary range: $180,000 - $190,962 per year
Full-time: 40 hours/week
