Full Job DescriptionOur client, a well-known clothing company, is looking for a UX Designer / Developer to join their team 40 hours a week remotely for 3 months with a potential to extend. Ideally the UX Designer / Developer will be local to NYC and able to work onsite 2 or 3 times to meet and collaborate with the team.The UX Designer / Developer will be bridging visual design and front end development to elevate the client's product design and prototyping practice concentrating on the client's website environments. The engineer will report to the VP of Digital Experience and work alongside two senior designers and a product designer.UX Designer / Developer Responsibilities:- Develop high-fidelity, interactive protypes to test and validate design ideas, user flows, and animations before full development- Work closely with UX designers to design concepts into functional prototypes through code, ensuring the final product stays true to the intended user experience- Build and maintain a library of reusable prototype components that align with the company's design system- Lead efforts to enhance prototyping workflows, tools, and best practices- Provide working prototypes during design reviews to demonstrate interaction patterns, animations, and responsive behaviors- Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure prototype concepts can be efficiently translated into production codeUX Designer / Developer Requirements:- 5-7 years of strong foundation in UX design principles and hands-on front-end development experience- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and experience with React- Experience with design and prototyping tools (Figma, ProtoPie, Framer, or similar)- Familiarity working with large dynamic sites, apps, and product data- Experience with iOS prototyping and development patternsIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.BenefitsCreative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
