Description

We are in search of an Accountant for a company in Newark, Delaware. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, processing customer credit applications, and handling customer inquiries. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial department and the integrity of our financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of processing customer credit applications in an accurate and timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records meticulously

• Coordinate with various stakeholders on a daily basis

• Accurately interpret credit agreements and enter loan details into our system

• Monitor various daily reports, investigate and reconcile any discrepancies

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Work closely with coordinators to ensure all required legal and compliance documentation is received prior to closing deals

• Maintain accountability for gathering all required documentation and ensuring accurate processing of new deals

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on the level of risk/sensitivity

• Adapt swiftly and reprioritize tasks as per fluctuating business needs.

Note: This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Requirements • Possesses strong skills in Documentation, Planning, and Payment Processing

• Has experience working with Contracts and Finance

• Familiarity with Workstation Support and Credit management

• Excellent Communication Skills, able to effectively interact with Stakeholders and Partners

• Proven track record of successful Collaboration in a team environment

• Experience in Loan Administration, including understanding of Loan Products and Commercial Banking

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Demonstrated ability in Closing deals, Quality Control, and Coordination

• Knowledge of Go and A Plus programming languages is beneficial

• Ability to work Overtime as needed

• Proficiency in Language Interpretation is advantageous

• Familiarity with Mindset Software

• Understanding of the process of making Amendments

• Ability to generate and interpret Exception Reports

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
