Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in the production of a variety of small parts. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machinery, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves performing repetitive tasks to ensure consistent production quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture small products according to specifications.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Monitor the production process and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency.

• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

• Perform repetitive tasks to ensure consistent production quality and efficiency.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of basic mechanical principles and how machinery operates.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to notice small details and ensure precision in work.

• Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic to measure and calculate dimensions/perform quality checks.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and troubleshoot basic problems with machinery.

• Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle tools and materials accurately.

• Communication Skills: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production, machine operation, machining, inspection, lathe, and mill operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, Delaware.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
