MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: US Citizen At least 18years old High School Graduate / Vocational Must possess valid NJ drivers license Must pass comprehensive background check Must pass physical agility test Must pass drug test Must pass psychological exam After passing all the required tests, the recruit will be enrolled in a twelve week Basic Course for County Correctional Police Officers at the Cedar Grove Essex County Police Academy.
